The Manhattan Alien Abduction
Is there life out there? Linda Napolitano knows the answer.
In 1989 the Manhattan housewife was abducted by aliens and levitated across the New York skyline with numerous witnesses saying they saw this happen. The Manhattan Alien Abduction sets out to uncover the truth.
Working closely alongside Directors Dan Vernon and Vivienne Perry, we created an 80s retro sci-fi feel through VFX builds of the spaceship and dreamy sequences of Linda ascending to the UFO created with cloud tank volumetric effects replicated in Houdini. We provided on set VFX supervision at the Black Island Studios shoot for the filming of Linda’s levitation scenes. Heavy use of green screen and wires meant our role on set was integral, for not only creating that blockbuster cinematic feel, but also to streamline the composting work we later carried out.
